CHALLE CARTER
Challe has been dancing for 8 years. She learned from others who studied period dancing. Challe taught for a summer at a medieval village called Sommerville Manor. She has taught the occational school group and small gatherings. This is something she enjoys doing on the weekends. Challe studied under Maiestero Niccolo Gianfigliazzi Genovese.

LARRY CURTIS (MrCere)
By day, Larry is mild mannered editor at Deseret Newspaper. After hours, Larry is a senior staff member at TORn where he plays photographer, reporter, merchandiser, speaker at conventions like DragonCon and Comic-Con, produces parties for events and co-ordinates line parties around the globe for the LOTR films, including over 10,000 people world-wide for 'Return Of The King'. He was also a unit director for "Ringers: Lord of the Fans."

SARAH CUTLER
Sarah Cutler is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is working towards a Master's Degree in English at Brigham Young University. She earned a B.A. in English and minor in editing at BYU. After she completes her graduate studies she plans to work as an editor in children's book publishing.

MICHAEL D. C. DROUT
Michael D. C. Drout is Chair of the English Department and Prentice Associate Professor of English at Wheaton College,Norton, Massachusetts, where he teaches Old and Middle English literature, fantasy, science fiction and the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Drout edited J.R.R. Tolkien's previously unpublished Beowulf and the Critics in 2002, and in 2003 this edition won the Mythopoeic Scholarship Award in Inklings Studies. Drout also edited the 2006 J.R.R. Tolkien Encyclopedia: Scholarship and Critical Assessment, published by Routledge. He is one of the founding editors of the journal Tolkien Studies and has published numerous articles on Tolkien and fantasy literature.

His technical research in medieval studies includes work on Anglo-Saxon monastic rules, wills and the "wisdom poems" of the Exeter Book as well as articles on Beowulf and Anglo-Saxon medicine. Drout runs anglosaxonaloud.com, a daily podcast of Old English verse, and he is the producer and performer of Beowulf Aloud (beowulfaloud.com), a reading of the entire poem in Old English. His book, How Tradition Works: A Meme-Based Poetics of the Anglo-Saxon Tenth Century was published in 2006 by Arizona Medieval and Renaissance Texts and Studies.

Drout has also recorded seven college courses on CD for The Modern Scholar division of Recorded Books. These include Rings, Swords and Monsters: Exploring Fantasy Literature (also published by Barnes and Noble as Of Sorcerers and Men), From Here to Infinity: An Exploration of Science Fiction, Bard of the Middle Ages: The Works of Geoffrey Chaucer, The History of the English Language, A Way with Words, Part 1: Rhetoric, Writing and the Arts of Persuasion and A Way with Words, Part 2: Approaches to Literature.

Drout is currently at work editing Tolkien Studies and is writing a new book, From Tradition to Culture as well as directing a project to extract DNA from medieval manuscripts. In 2006 he was awarded a Millicent C. McIntosh Fellowship from the Woodrow Wilson Institute. He lives in Dedham, Massachusetts with his wife and two children.

DR. STEPHEN FULLMER
Dr. Stephen Fullmer received his Ph.D. from Capella University Dec 2005 His thesis was exploring learner intent in distance education courses. He developed on-line pedagogy which showed how advanced literature courses could be taught on-line. Dr. Fullmer currently teaches classes on Tolkien at Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University Honors program.

Dr. Fullmer's interest in fantasy literature began when he was in third grade when he read the Hobbit.

SUSAN GEERTSEN
Susan has worked in costuming for over 35 years in stage, film, ballet. She also has specialized in hairstyling and wigs for stage and film.
Some of the shows Susan has worked are: Peter Pan, Wizard of Oz, Secret Garden, Molly Brown, Annie, and Savior of the World, Nutcracker, and Coppelia.
Susan is the current president of the Costume Guild in Salt Lake City/Provo area, has managed several costume shops/closets and has taught the find art of costuming for approximately 14 years. She is the owner of Costume Components.

PAUL GENESSE
Paul is a fantasy author and registered nurse. His first novel, The Golden Cord, Book One of the Iron Dragon Series is coming out in hard cover in April, 2008. He has sold nine short stories such as Almost Brothers in Fellowship Fantastic from DAW Books.

Shawn worked at Rocky Point Haunted house seven years under Chris Henson, a Hollywood make up artist. Since then Shawn has done numerous theatre productions, commercial work and independent films. Most recently, Shawn was head make up artist for "LIFELESS", a horror TV series, soon to be produced. SHARON KRETCHMAR

ANNE MARIE KLOOGH
Ann Marie has an associates degree in graphic design and illustration. Her first love, however is making things with her hands, be it drawing, jewelry, wall hangings, animals or dolls. (Ann Marie has designed and made her own custom Frodo and Gollum.) She first read "The Hobbit" when she was in high school, and although it took some years to get through it, once she did she was hooked. The "Lord of the Rings" quickly followed and she has been a fan ever since. "The books are a never-ending source of amazement to me.
Each time I read the stories, new images arise and I use those images to create works of art." For example Ann Marie has specialized in creating her own version of the Ent Wives.

MELONIE MORTENSEN
Melonie has been working professionally in costuming for over six years. She received her BA at Weber State University, and currently works for Utah Opera Company in the costume shop. She has also worked at The Utah Shakespearean Festival, UMT and Tuachan Theatre. In her "spare time" Melonie makes historical re-creations for clients all over Utah, Idaho and California.
